3000k HID

Would it be a bad idea to use these as your primary headlight bulbs? I know most people use them as fogs. What would be the effect of using these? If 8000k is extremely blue and does not shine as far, is the opposite true for the 3000k? Thanks

3000K will be emitting a yellow light, which is perfect for bad weather conditions. However for regular everyday driving (as primary lights), NOT recommended.

I'd suggest you run them as fogs, that way you can still have your primary (white) lights.

The difference between the yellow light and the blue is that yellow makes all the road signs and obstructions pop out at you. With the blue light, it actually hides or blends in these things with the dark background. That's just my experience.
