31" tires with 3.43 gears

The chart you posted said my code (A02A) is 3.58. I have a 2000 4cylinder automatic. I won't have an opportunity to jack up the rear and verify it for a few days. I'm going to record my RPM at speed and then calculate it.

Bought a totaled 4cyl auto for my 3rz swap. It had 4.56.

Well using this calculator I have 3.73 ratio.

At 60 MPH my tach indicates a little over 1900 RPM. I entered my actual worn out tire height (27"), speed, and different ratios till the RPM returned 1950. I still have to verify this.

Yeah, I still think you should jack up a wheel and give her a spin to be 100% certain. If you are off on the diameter or the RPM, that calculator will be off.

I feel like the charts are a good guess but you just never know unless you raise tire and give it a spin. When i wanted to know all the charts gave me different answers so i just tried it out to make sure.

when you go to measure definitely do at least 10 spins of the tire for an accurate measurement. (mainly so the math is right)

mine came with 15" wheels just so you all know. ill do the spin test and measure it when I get a chance.
