3D Printed Key tag

I made this for myself but if anyone finds it handy to make your own, I made the file public.

Cool thing is the logo seems to be mostly consistent throughout all the generations, so this should be a match no matter what year you have.

The 2 tone color scheme is super easy, if your a regular printer user you know the trick, but if your new, just watch for the build transition from base to logo, and swap filament color mid print.

I'd love to but I can't. I use works 3D printer, and they are totally okay with me doing personal projects with it, but as such they would frown on me making a production job out of it and trying to profit from it.

Hunt around a lot of places offer free or cheap use of a 3D printer now, maybe you pitch in on filament or something. With the file you have the hard part done. Sometimes libraries have them and let folks print objects.

That's pretty cool. I could print those up for people, for a small fee.
I'll even make a t4r.org one and see if people like them.

I don't have any real experience/knowledge with 3D printers so I apologize if this is a silly question but are those rigid plastic or are they rubbery? It looks sick but I'd worry about it breaking the first time I put it in my pocket.

I use ABS plastic so it's rigid. It's fairly durable so it won't just shatter if you flex it, but it might be uncomfortable to put in your pocket.

I don't keep my keys in my pocket so I don't really think about it, I use a small binder and clip them to my belt.

You could make them out of flex but it's expensive $70/Kg
