So my remote start plugs into the ODB2 and uses a splitter. Does anyone run the ScanGauge II with a remote start? Just curious if I'd have any issues with the reader, etc.

I'm running a compustar remote starter with scangaugeII, no issues.

Got mine as well. Before receiving this printed mount, my ScanGauage was always slightly crooked. This fixed my OCD :whoo:

This is the first I've ever heard of this, why does your command start need to be plugged into the OBD2 plug?!?

I believe it's because most people buy integration components with their remote-start systems that eliminates splicing of cables.

Because it's a plug and play system and it overrides the alarm

Looking back at it now, I probably would have gone with a weaker tape for the ScanGauge to Mount connection. Would make it easier to remove if I needed to send it back for updates!

Thanks, I rip my dash apart frequently so that's why I'm asking. I may mount the mount itself with sturdier tape but the ScanGauge I think I will use what they provided

Got my ScanGauge installed with the 3D Printed Mount, install was super easy. I used black 3M double sided molding tape on the bottom, and the 2 provided velcro tabs to mount it to the 3D printed mount.

Installation was super easy and straight forward.

The ScanGauge fired right up first try.
