3D printed outlet cover - Convert rear ashtray to 12V/USB outlets

Does this fit all ash trays? I do not have the heater option on my 01 but I would really like one of these.

Yeah it should, but I can't say I'm 100% certain. Does your ashtray look to be about the same size as mine? I don't see why Toyota would change the ashtray size on your 4Runner because that would require them to manufacture a new part.

If it doesn't fit and you can't/don't want to trim plastic to make it work then I'll refund your money, sound fair?

I don’t have the heater option on my ‘99 and it fits like a glove! Perfectly snug and couldn’t be more happier. Sanding and paint my outlet cover this week.

i can find the STL files for the mudflaps, but is there any chance I could get the STL file for the ash tray plate? my school has a 3D printer and it'd be easier and quicker for me to just print one there

Yeah, it is. Top is stock, bottom is painted to match with that SEM paint.

I haven't posted the files yet because I really want to sell off the remaining parts I have first. I have like 7 left, but I did write in this thread that I'll post the files for free in one year (I think around Oct 2018).

The SLS parts will be a lot more durable than an FDM part, assuming that's the type of printer school has. They also will require little to no sanding.

That being said, if you still aren't going to buy one then pm me and I'll send you the STL file

I got mine the other day and just bought the SEM 15223 interior paint at my local Napa.

I tried sourcing the USB adapters locally. Guess I'll be ordering them. I have the 2 hole. One will be a double USB charger. The other will be a USB audio in (for the Scion 1819 radio) and a USB charge port. And back there the dogs should stay away from it.
