3rd Gen 4 Sale... I See This Guy Everywhere

The extremely spaced wheel trend is hitting my area, and it makes me vomit in my mouth a little everytime I see them.
Is the owner on T4R? Can anyone recall a member on here with this? Its in the Virginia Beach area.

Apparently the owners of these 4runners that are pictured haven't seen or experienced lower ball joint failure. The "skateboard" effect is hard on the IFS front ends and the LBJs will fail prematurely. Besides, it just looks stupid.

Not to mention alignment would suck, scrub radius so far out you have to have a 1/4" of toe in. And as so many others have tactfully put it, it looks really stupid.

I saw that craigslist ad while browsing through Hampton Roads 4runner stuff the other day. The first thing that hit me, other than the ridiculous price, was those tires.

to quads-sorry just my opinion...but this trend isn't new, saw it in the 70's too.
