I cannot figure out how to disable the DRL either without all the extra wiring.

NOW what I do have is a set of Euro VW Golf II projectors I was going to retro my 5th Gen accord with.
They are kinda small BUT they are perfect projectors.

I may sell em.

DANG IT

I dont know what to do.

They are very similar to oem projectors. They have the curved lenses and cutoff shields. Also they are long enough to house a H3 HID bulb . Quite a few guys are already running this setup.

Interesting. Is my truck prewired for fog lights so I can just use the factory wiring and buy a factory fog light switch?

Shoot, I can't see anything at HID planet except some statement saying I've been banned. I would really like to see the info over there too.

I've never registered or posted there, so I'm assuming some tool at my (huge) company is to blame, and got our whole IP banned?

Can't even find a link to an admin e-mail to remedy the problem, as everything I click brings up the "banned" screen. Can anyone help me out with that?

Shonuup, you asked about the differences in the clear FX lenses and the the clear TSX lenses. I did not really believe there was any real differences, but wow, was I wrong.

EDIT: I do not know if all TSX lenses are clear, so you may want to check on that first if you decide to pick up a set. I do know that the ones I got are very clear.

I just got my TSX projectors in the mail this past weekend. I took the lenses out to compare them to my FX lenses. At first glance, both lenses look completely identical. Both appear to be just as clear as the other.

However, when you hold the FX lense up over say a newspaper for example, and look down thru it to read the wording on the paper, all the print is very fuzzy. Almost impossible to even read.

However, if you hold the TSX lense up over the paper and look down thru it, the print is as clear as if you were hodling no lense at all! I was astonished to discover first hand how much more clear the TSX lenses were vs the FX lenses. It's like watching cable TV on a tube television vs watching HD TV on a LCD TV...there is no comparison.

Because the TSX lense is so clear, match that with the color mod, and you will get a very nice blue cut off line.

This is not a huge factor, but it is worth pointing out. The TSX lenses are not as tall as the FX lenses. When you lay the two lenses down on a flat surface side by side, the FX lense has a taller dome shape to it than that of the TSX lense. I believe that is why you loose some foreground lighting with the TSX lenses vs the FX lenses. Because the TSX lense does not protrude out as far when mounted as the FX lense does. Again, this is really not a big deal IMO.

Don't know when I'll get around to finishing my retro-fit. Work takes up any time I have during the week, so I really only have weekends to work on this. I'd like to take some pictures of the FX & TSX lenses to show you the difference in clarity between the two, but my camera is having a hard time photographing the difference. If I can get a good picture of what I've described above, I'll definitely post it. If not, just take my word for it. The TSX lenses are insanely clear. :bigok:
