3rd gen sliders

Does the outside rail on most sliders end up about where the factory running boards are? Trying to get an idea of where the ends would transition to the plastic fender flares on a 1999 Limited. I might fab some for my truck. Looking around the web haven't yet found a good image of sliders vs running boards location.

I have my trail gear sliders tucked up and in about as much as I can, with the angle on the outer bar sort of filling in the gap a bit. You'd have to know that there were originally running boards there to notice them missing.

Looks like you got some rub there in the front. Mine are out further to help push the vehicle away from obstructions. They are still inside my wheellbase. I run 1.5inch spacers on my wheels as well..helps with rub..

Look at the overall length of whichever brand you are interested in and then measure it out on your truck and you will know for sure. Savage for example builds his 68" and that will go basically the full length of the rockers. Most other brands are shorter.

I received my Savage sliders with kickout yesterday. Here are a few mock up pics I took today on my 99 Limited. I might be able to get them up another 1/2" - 3/4". They do not stick out as far as the old running boards. Probably about 1" in.

a) Are these the 60" Tacoma All-Pro sliders? And are they right at 60" from end to end?
b) If so, are there any modifications needed to the sliders/undercarriage/fender flares to install on a T4R limited?
c) Do they already have the frame weld plates already welded on to the end of the tubing?

All-Pro has free shipping on all their products 1-5 January and was hoping to take advantage of the offer. If anyone has any info on these questions that you are willing to share, it would be greatly appreciated! I originally built mine with a little more "step" than "slider"...I then decided to tuck them better.
Around here, there is not a ton of call for kicking-out, so I'm happy with their final design and location.

Closer to your home the news channels are reporting some snow just north of you, if not flurries last nite in the NW Valley

We decided to spend some time in Prescott, with our little 1yr old grandson Mason. He really enjoyed his first snow experience. It was great bringing in the new year with family.

It all depends on how you mount them, if they're turned upwards they'll be at a steeper angle closer to the body. I use mine to reach the roof rack, and as extra body armor to avoid pesky root wads of tree stumps....
