Got a new paint job all around since had so many offroad dents n dings. Also got new '99 headlights, and front/rear bumpers.
Show off flex. No offroading yet untill I get the lift since shocks are weak. Ordered Rancho rs5158's today for rear with 891's.
Can't tell in these iPhone pics or barely in actuality but both bumpers have a hint of sunfire red flake/perl in it.
Deminished the chrome on back by removing the SR5 and Toyota chrome emblems to bottom left and right. Plus those are hardly necessary to my liking. I ordered another '4Runner' emblem for the front Satoshi Grille mod im about to do soon too.
I'm ordering front struts next week to finally get a lift and then will have a decent build thread. All in all I'm happy I went with black bumpers instead of same color as body. My cousin is a painter with new shop so got it all decently priced and all the body harm taken care of.

Look Great man you gatta love a good custom paint job. I bet those bumpers look sweet when the sun hits them just right.

I don't know for sure. I'd like to put 4Runner like the back but then again since I already have it on the back maybe try the '63 Toyota emblem. Haven't decided yet. Either one will be same color red on black mesh of course.
Honestly I didn't decide on bumper colors until last minute so he threw in the flakes. So I'm sure i'll buy both emblems and paint both then decide and keep one for later use.

Sold it to him. He wanted a 4runner, but couldn't afford the '99 Highlander that we found when looking for one for him. However, I could afford it, so I sold him mine and bought the '99.

Welcome :cheers: nice rig, what type of mods are you going to do?
Well, I have already done the ISR and Deckplate mod.
Audio setup I have a Kenwood DNX6140 and a 10" AudioBahn sub.
Installing a Clifford 50.7X Alarm / Remote Start this upcoming week.
I would like to get a 2.5" to 3" lift with some larger tires. I have been looking into gears to give me a little more pep because I drive up and down from Denver to Vail in Colorado.
Other than that I have not put a ton of thought into what I would like to do at this point!

Welcome aboard Thats a fine 4runner complete with fat front lip and saggy assend I suspect you will be taking care of these items in do time I see you have stared your mods already now there is no turning back.

Finally got the running boards of the 4runner so now I can post pics of it. I have always been a toyota fan but my runner has made me love toyotas lol. Here are pics of my 99 Sr5 4x4, its nothing special. So far I have done AEM CAI, Projector headlights with HIDs, Magnaflow exhaust, removed the running boards, and the chrome fender trim. Soon I am going to be tinting the windows, JL system, and icon coilovers with 265 bfg all terrians.
