gosh quit tempting me guys! lol I was so close to buying some with a little money i made on the side but decided to save it cause ill prob need it for something else. one day one day! fightman which ones are you planning on getting?

Not really sure right now...thinking of going with the OEM looking LED's or just upgrade to the OEM 2000 - 2002 style......maybe the clear smoked LED's??? I'm conflicted!

Like I mentionned before, I'm kinda going for a "Factory Optioned TRD Edition 4Runner" look....minus the Supercharger! HA HA HA! So thinking stock looking is good, just the best of the stock stuff to mod my 98!

That being said....the Scooped hood is another big mod I'd like to do in the next year or two.......A MAN CAN DREAM!

wow thats nutz i graduated from s.h.s in 2000. might have even passed each other in the halls lol. the pic was actually taken in rodanthe a couple of weeks ago. u canstill drive on emerald isle during the off season, just have to purchase a sticker. here is a pic in e.i before the rims and tires.

fightman and GBTRD, which ebay led tail light seller are you guys going with? I was about to buy em last night but didn't want to buy from a crappy/unreliable seller. Also, what's the deal with these lights only having the LEDs on when in reverse or as parking lights? I saw a couple which stated that. Any help would be appreciated!

Are good sellers to deal with. I personally don't buy from anybody that is not a "Power seller".....just my way of trying to stick with legit sellers.


These are 2 of the choices I'm thinking of going with....also looking into just retrofitting some Newer Style OEM tail lights......

Almost all of the Ebay LED tails are made by the same company, Eagle Eyes. They are an excellent manufacturer and make a great product.

The seller I went with was racerinnovation.
His prices are $15 lower than revotek and sabersport. Shipping is less than half as much as revotek and less than a third of sabersport's.

There are a few sellers with as low as $115, but it's up to you to trust them.

I purchased these smoked led taillights through ebay seller ....Dream Concepts Z. $162.69 shipped. Compared to the photo on the ebay listing, here is the product as it looks installed. IMO the smoke tint is just right. If smoke is not your flavor, the quaility of lights assembly compared as close to oem as the ones I replaced. Hope this helps....

Thanks for the help fightman, ripcord, and 8sm. Ill most likely buy the lights tomorrow. I still have the question as to when will the leds be actually on? Only when headlights are on, during reverse, or as brake lights. Thanks guys

The field monitor is cool. I like the idea of one, but it looks too outdated for me to put one in my 4runner.

They function just like regular brake lights. So when you press the brake pedal they light up.

Also when your headlights are on they will be on, but not on full power.
