Surf

The surf passed inspection and is now finally on the road!:thumb3:! I took it for a ride on some mountain roads near my house to see how she'd perform... here are some pics.

It's a Cannon T1i with a 17-40L lens. I was shooting in bulb mode with a remote control to prevent vibrations. Shot at 17mm, exposure was f5.6 for 600s.

Haha, yup the pics were taken with my iPhone 4. The camera on it is way better than my regular camera! LOL

Was that with the "HDR" on? I am assuming this is the IP4 correct/ If so, I am gonna have to try this as well.

Yes, I had the HDR feature on. There's a night and day difference in the quality of the pictures when I have it on or off.

anyone one here got one of those oem skids they can sell me?

If no members are willing to sell you one you could always try checking a junkyard. In my case though, the junkyards actually had no 3rd gens, believe it or not. So I got mine new online...link:

2001-2004 Toyota Tacoma Skid Plate Front, Under Radiator Brushed Aluminum

It says it is for a Taco, but it fits the 4Runner. Kinda expensive, being a "for looks" skid plate, but I thought it was worth it.

nice! i love my t1i. what kind of remote do you have? i've been thinking about getting one as well as a more sturdy tripod. i'm assuming your remote has a lock feature on it so you don't have to hold the button down...
