Looks awesome! How does it drive?

Straight as an arrow now with the new alignment and it seems the little bit of shimmy that was in the steering wheel is gone. The ride quality is definitely a little stiff with those 891's but much like I think Josh B was saying his other car was a F250 or something along those lines - the other car I drive is my wifes '06 330i. Those 3-series aren't exactly known for their plush ride either so I'm used to feeling the road.

I had her mechanically checked out for my big 4k mile trip and my guy says she's good to go, needs an air filter and some washer fluid. He knows I like the Rain-X fluid so he didn't top it off and made a helpful suggestion to get the bug fluid since KS can leave you splattered - So I picked up a gallon of that.

ETA: Palmetto, rubber is 265/70*17

are those stock SR5 flares? the end piece for the front fender flare doesn't look like a mud guard... am i missing something?

The are stock SR5 flares. The end pieces are mud guard's that I chopped in half b/c they wouldn't fit w/ 285's. They add that nice finishing touch to the flare but I keep breaking them off every time I go wheeling! The damn things just don't seem to want to stay attached very well... Working on figuring out how to keep them nice and snug. At full tuck they get rubbed and rip off

Thanks. That was from a trip to the Tahoe side of Mckinney/Rubicon trail in mid July. It was amazing how much water and snow there was on the ground.

How bad does the shackle hitch hurt departure angle? I can't stand the angle with just an empty hitch. I'd take it off if I didn't tow the 1 trailer every two years or so, haha.

i took it off my dad's accord has a trailer hitch :thumb3:

I honestly don't do anything crazy enough for the hitch to really affect anything. It scrapes a little here and there but nothing too bad.


The chrome doesn't bother me too much, but I'd much prefer black. Not to mention the huge random dent in the bumper!


I tow occasionally as well, I need a bumper that will still allow me to tow and have the factory harness incorporated into it somehow. I'm still a noob to the T4R community so I'm not sure if there's any companies that offer that?
