Just picked up this 5 speed and transfer case from a local 2nd gen partout for $80, knowing the bellhousings are the same as ours. Got it home to realize it's passenger side drop :doh:

keep it for a sas it will work with the old stock toyota axle

Found an old abandoned self-propelled crane today with bullet holes it.

Where does this road go? Went exploring today through Lewis and Clark National Forest south of great falls. I seriously need some trail tires for this.

In preparation for my paint job this week. Flopped it back in October at Gulches and had to get a new driver's door immediately, but it took me a little longer to get the rear door...and even longer to have the cash to get em painted. So, the rear door was off until yesterday so it wouldn't get scratched or dented. Gonna wait to put my rear flare on til it's all done. 4-color trucks FTW!!

Yeah I saw that over on TW the other say. Very sweet truck. Here are the specs per their website:

97 4runner: LQ4 6.0L with a Z06 corvette can, headers, and custom tune. Turbo 400, 203/atlas2, 60 front with chromolly shafts and ctms, drive flanges, 70hd rear, Arbs in both, 7.17 gears, 54's on 20" stazworks double bead locks.
