^^^ awesome pics man, you have the best interior color too btw. love your wheeling/exploring partner. and you retrofit looks amazing, who did it, if you did what did you use and how did you keep the housings chrome? thats how i want to do a projector retrofit, cause its subtle and you dont notice it at first, i looks factory

Painted Rear Valance and License Plate Surrond



Color matched the rear valance/wing and license plate surround. What do you think?

Thanks. No i had a guy at a body shop that I worked for do it - no charge. Color is not perfect, but it looks pretty close. I was thinking about going back to stock on the emblems or none at all.

id go none at all but the toyota emblem itself is attached with two studs that go into two hols in the gate...

Thanks man! Yeah I really wanted the headlights to still have a stock or factory look to them. Steezemcqueen actually helped me with the retro-fit. I bought all the parts from TRS and he did the rest. These are the options I went with: Mini D2S, 5Five 55w ballast, 5Five 5000k bulbs, No Halo, LHD, NO Glue, Gatling Gun Shroud, H4 Harness.

Meh. It is what it is. Yeah, it's loud. But I figured PBR would be louder. Not as loud as the 36" SS TSLs or the 38" Bias SS TSLs I had. But I don't mind the noise. Makes no difference to me.

Bare Bones Stock (well, sorta)...

Bought my 1999 4Runner Limited back in August of 1998 via the web from a Dallas dealer and had her shipped to Missouri. And to celebrate 15 years of reliable service...its time for some real mods.

I did do a couple of minor mods; sound deaden/insulate, 265/75s, and painted the center cap toyota logo with fire red model paint (been there for five years and still looks as good as the day I did the work).

Wanting to do the tried and true mods (running boards, deck mod, ISR mod, 12v plugs, etc.). And, a small lift, bumpers, rack with RTT, storage, and again, etc., etc.

Lots of great ideas here and I will most definitely give props to those who inspired.
