He flopped the entire thing over on it's other side a couple months ago, I don't think he's going to claim a window against his insurance.

i realize he probably wont be making an insurance claim on it, but still im gonna venture to bet that even that seaminly small amount of damage would total most runners

That would just be dumb.pay a couple hundred bucks and get a new window, or claim it, have your insurance go up for being in a "wreck" and such. I'll pay out of pocket any day.

The damage didn't affect the door at all. The little dent on the door has been there (another tree).

Yes, this will be my 3rd replacement rear window. Once @ Harlan, KY (same side), and then a year ago at Gulches I laid it over on the driver's side and my CO2 went thru the window. About $75 for the window at a salvage yard. Gonna take a little massaging on the body to get that frame straight again. S'alright!

ah that's an expensive piece of glass! i think the bast part of this picture is the guy & kid photo-bombing in the back ground! their isn't a straight piece of metal on that thing! ound:

I used the DupliColor wheel paint....MANY coats! I've been pleasantly surprised with the way the paint has held up. Besides the stuff rubbed off by rocks, it has held up very well. I have a thread somewhere showing the process.

I got the TRD logos off of Amazon from a seller named tomkoz

Nah, it's not that bad. This will be the third one I am replacing, actually, and it's not too bad...Anywhere from $50-$100 at the salvage yard. I can replace them myself now...gonna need to massage the window frame a bit first.

when i had my encounter with Mr,tree that piece cost me 40 bucks at the junk yard.

Have you considered Plexiglass maybe?
