You got it spot on! Spent Sunday-Wednesday at the camp site.. drove in to surf Old Mans on Tuesday.

Yep, there were waves. Here's a couple shots of some randoms I was watching.

Any pictures of the bilt you did on the grill???

No I just cut the center sand it down and trace an outline of the inner portion then chamfer the cut and beat the grill material over it. I wanted to but wife rushed me a bit had to finish it in a little over an hr.

I've done many many years of surf sessions there up at the crack of dawn to get in line before the pay booth opens sitting in my truck hearing the waves crashing just below the bluff as the swell is building getting amped up and giddy with excitement that even the thought of putting on your freezing soaking wet wetsuit from the day before doesn't even phase you cause it's gonna be an epic all day session til your arms are gumby.
Thank you for posting those picsn and bringing back so many *****in memories from there, I needed that.
Shit , I can't believe I almost forgot ..San Onofre is where I entered my first Surf Contest age of 13 and it was put on by Surfrider Foudation and sponsered by Stewart Surfboards, Rip Curl, and the Fletchers were involved. I remember cause I took 3rd in my division but feeling like Tour Champion. After that day I only wanted to be a pro surfer.

Those are the ones brotha.. large LC8's more like lol. The 8.75 are more like LC9's. I didn't think that .75 would make a huge difference and I would settle close to the same as an 8..wrong I was.
But it has grown on me, it still has a 1 3/4 rake from back to front that I would like to reduce atleast 3/4 of it and It would be perfect, figure out how to get the front up a lil more.
But as far as the ride quality with the 8 wraps combo'd with LC Black Tokio's shocks ...unbelievable feeling like cadillac. If there's a dip, I say what dip? even at 60/70 mph like nothin.
Front is Bilstein 4600's w/ 2.5 spacer....it works thats about it.

The only real issue I can't figure out is I have a 3/4" lean from driver side (high)to passenger side (low)...and is exactly the same in the rear and is very noticeable looking at it from the front or back and it actually has me leaning with it when driving it's that much. it boggles me as to why can't figure that one out.
