Thanks! I was really surprised to find out that they made them for this platform as well. Since I got her, I've been trying to find another Surf out here that has them as well but I'm yet to see any. Looks like I've got something rare even in Japan. But you can believe that when my time in Japan is done, I'll be taking those seats (and any other rare JDM goody) out and bringing it home with me. I wish I could bring the whole rig but it wont be 25 years old yet by the time its time for me to go back to the states.
Your truck is clean AF. That is exactly the style of front bumper I want for mine. I haven't decided if I will buy or make yet. I'm also originally from CO as well.

Finally spending some time with my 3rd Gen
New to the forum and love seeing all the green rigs to get ideas on what to finally do to my 2000 2WD SR5 V6 w/ 131K. Being the original owner, I know the vehicle is 100% sound mechanically. Just wish I could say the same for the paint (failing clearcoat from Florida & Texas summers !!!) and torn front leather which were just covered with CoverKing leatherette seat covers until I can find a suitable leather solution. Been toying around with the idea of bedlining or painting the entire vehicle and researching options and pricing now. Pros/Cons on Line-x or other solutions welcomed !!!

I was wondering, can't you just sand off the bad clearcoat and spray on some new clearcoat over the existing green base coat? Only wondering because anytime I've seen people post about bad clearcoat they always go the route of completely repainting but it would be nice to be able to keep the original base coat.

I honestly think the CoverKing leatherette looks good. Shoot I'm considering to look into that. I just purchased a 2000 4Runner Limited and the leather seats has some tears on it.

From everything i've read and the few people I've talked to have all indicated that that's not an option, at least not one that will last/come out good. If it was single stage, then different story. Now thinking about picking up a sports hood and just having that painted Jade to match and also getting the fender flares re-sprayed. Not sure if color/shade matching will be an issue with new vs. 18 yr. old paint.

I had a small issue with the rear seat backs and CoverKing just sent me replacements without ANY issues even though originally purchased through CarID.com (which I will NEVER purchase from again). Time will tell how they hold up, but I'm pretty easy on the vehicle so I'm hoping for at least 2-3 years.

That's awesome! I really give kudos to those type of companies. I just went through something like that, but for floor mats. They wanted to charge a "restocking" fee. They eventually waived it but I wouldn't deal with them again.

97 Limited on Pro-Comp 31's
Here is my 97 Limited that I have had now for about a month. I have picked up some good ideas from the forums here and wanted to post my progress so far. I'm pretty happy how the Pro-Comp 31's turned out with the spiked lug nuts. Not sure what to do next...been leaning towards a roof-mounted cargo carrier. Any suggestions?

Depends on long term goals, but most remove running boards.

Long term goals on this build are pretty low-key. Basically just gonna be a weekend-warrior and daily-driver so I'm probably not gonna be doing any heavy wheelin'. That being said...I still wanna be able to go anywhere I wanna go, anytime I wanna go there, and still look dope while I'm doing it 
Also, I hear ya loud and clear on the running boards. My old lady is only 5'1 so she pitched a fit when I said I was gonna ditch them...lol
Guess I'll end up replacing them with nerf bars just to keep her happy.

Mud Mud Mud...
Here's a couple from our hiking trip last week in the mountains around town. There's a "road" of sorts for about 10 miles, washouts and river crossings, before you're on foot.
We spent the whole day hiking, back to the car around 9pm. Rule number 1? Always stay on the "road". Made a split second wrong decision to avoid the worst of the washouts, turned onto the clay and mud looking for a easier way around. The result? Sunk to the frame.
This is the first time in 3 years that I have actually gotten stuck in the Yota. We were digging with our hands, wedging driftwood under the wheels, desperately trying to get traction in the goey liquid clay. This is a remote area and cell reception would be a 15 mile walk away through bear and wolf country, at dusk.
The Kachemak mountain gods finally took pity on us after Midnight, and we broke free. Grateful for the midnight sun up here, or this might have been a very different story.
Not bad for a stock vehicle! ...I have GOT to get some diff lockers.
