Feel like a baby compared to some of these builds lmao, here’s my 2wd 00’ limited Runner “Night Runner”
I’ve never taken so much pride in a vehicle till this one, I actually have fun doing maintenance.... you couldn’t bribe me to want to do a oil change on one of my old chevys. Here’s some pics of my Florida rig

Hello from Colorado
2002 4Runner Limited with 328,000 miles on the clock. Seen here on a recent trip from Colorado to Wisconsin after some hellacious off roading in Colorado.
Gifted to me by a recently widowed friend. VSC light just lit up and driver seat cushion leather split, otherwise good to go.

Not much to look at but i got a snorkel installed!
Also added to my collection of genuine toyota jdm parts that need to be installed. it wasn't cheap! worth it? probably, but mostly subjective. some would spend it on armor or recovery gear.
Haven't had the time to install it so have a look!
Early model visors - 1 set (up for sale soon, want to keep it "period correct")
Late model visors - 2 sets (one set sold)
Surf LED spoilers - QTY. 2 (up for sale soon, i have one installed atm)
Late model power folding mirrors - 1 set (swapped power folding internals into the LED covers. this added 5 more wires for leds and 2 more wires for heated mirrors)
Late model Revier LED Wink mirror covers - 1 set (color matched 587/KG4)
Aeroforce Modellista front grill with hood piece. (planning to use only the hood piece. not a fan of "Dodge")
Surf headlights - 2 sets "no nipple"glass and bucket adjustment goodness (retrofitted soon with LS460r)
Surf late model clear corners - 1 set
Surf late model tail lights - 1 set
LED tail lights - 1 set
Surf field monitor housing. No one uses the altimeter or compass. dated tech* COME ON! (plan to retro digital diagnostics or toggle switches)
LS460r retrofit - 1 set
Fenders left and right with mirrors and side markers - 3 sets
Left side power antenna.
As you can see there are a few extra sets of parts. I'll be selling off a few parts to make room in my garage. I've already sold one set of late model visors to a buddy on the forum.
Up for sale soon; 1 set of fenders, 1 set of early model visors (fat type), 1 LED surf spoiler. pm me
If you have any questions to what the differences are with its usdm counterpart, feel free to ask.

And so it begins
Bought my second 3rd Gen a few months ago and have been working hard getting it to safe and efficient road condition. Had to do a lot of replacements and repairs due to poor upkeep from the original owner. Thankfully there are a ton of great positives from the purchase of this 4R even being in the rust belt its whole life. Currently sitting at approx 183k. Biggest repair that I've made was replacing the upper and lower ball joints on the both sides in the front (check my garage pictures for the accident pictures as a result of very poor road construction) as well as replacing the rear axle seals and all of the pressed parts on the axles. I have a great repair shop in the suburbs of Chicago if anyone needs a place.
I've been using the forum for enjoyment mostly but have used a lot of repair instructions to do things such as replacing the starter contacts, diagnosing codes, general cleaning and efficiency, etc. Most recent mod was swapping interior lights for LEDs.
My next move will be to replace the stock suspension with hopefully a 2" suspension lift, ideally Bilstein 5100 and OME springs. Once the money is right, I will install those as well as new tires. Haven't decided on which to get but we'll see. Looking forward to years to come with this wonderfully colored piece of machinery.
