Tire sizes with 3in bilstein/toytec lift kit

Hey guys, I apologize if this isn't the correct place to put this but I'm brand new so bare with me. I own a 99 Limited 4runner and just recently bought a 3in bilstein/toytec lift kit and was looking to get some wheels and tires. What size tires do people normally run with this size lift? I want to get 285/75/16 on a 16x8 wheel but wasn't able to track down an straightforward answer on whether or not they'll fit. Will this size tire cause any rubbing/will I need to get spacers or do any fender modification? Thank you in advance!

I will be polite and kindly answer your question as long as you absolutely promise to search the t4r site. this topic has been asked 100s of times here. When people posts stuff like this all us folks that have been here a while automatically assume you’re a russian troll.

With that said. yes. but you will need spacers if your using factory wheels(otherwise you can get wheels with the correct offset) and will have to hammer your pinch weld.

With that said you need to SEARCH the site for spacer info and pinch weld mods. No more questions as they ALL have been asked 1000 times over already. The information is here, you have to do the work to find it.

Haven't been on here in a while. When I was, I had a lifted 97 4WD. My neighbor accidentally smashed right into me in reverse, and killed it. True story!

Picked this up in a crunch, so it's only 2WD (limited). But, I don't snowboard as often as I used to, so I'm not in serious need of a 4WD. I DO plan on putting a 1: body lift so I can put some 32's on it, then some new struts.
Just put a double din Pioneer stereo, and JL Audio front, rear, sub & amps.
Next will be to powder coat the stock wheels satin black and wrap the fender flares the same black. Going to pull out all the wood grain inside, and do that black as well. Once I get more cash flow, I'll wrap the cream Army green.
