3rd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Hey does anyone know if a 1998 chrome front and rear bumper like this fit on a 1999 limited 4runner?
Rear bumper is mechanically the same for all years/trims. Going to a non-fat-lip front bumper will require removing the crash bar, maybe frame horn plates and then it will be bolt-on with the right parts (bumper brackets to frame). Make sure you get one with the right holes (or not) for your flare type for the front bumper.

I need new seat covers as well. Looks spot on replacement for what I have. How hard was the replacement? Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? We replaced my son's with a set of gray cloth seats that are in spectacular condition but doesn't match his interior very well...

Icy spicy this morning.

Glad I never sold this 3rd gen, so much fun out in the desert.

Due to the site sustaining permissions issues for threads with 100+ pages, I'm starting a new gallery thread for you guys. I can merge the threads together at some point, if the issue every gets fixed.

Enjoy

Thanks for the workaround! I'll start the new thread off.

My '99 when I bought it in April 2020 vs a month ago in Tahoe. Not much has changed (aesthetically).

REbuilt ( engine .trans. frame.etc) @ 272, its running well again!

BIG KUDOS to GearHead Engines and their "henco en Mexico" 5VZ reman, its purring along like a kitten. Great oil pressure. Should live long.

Decided to buy this 4RNR off my kid when it popped a head gasket. Careful what you wish for! when you say shit to your wife like...

" gee honey, i'd be happy driving this little truck for the rest of my days."

And then the kid sends you a video of his 4rnr acting like a Stanley steamer, and you sort of know your way around cars, adn decide to buy it off him ( a gift price ) and rebuild it.

Nice Utah truck tho. Body is very clean.

Next step is rear axle redo, new backing plates ( shoes) , and maybe a E locker.
