Thanks! I initially felt the same, but the risk has been worth the reward everyone tells me that they like it. Also, the hockey teams gf's and wives will quit asking me if it's a pathfinder, LOL!

I think selling that 2wd 4cyl and going to a V6 4wd you would be money ahead if your are going to start getting into all that stuff.

No not at all. If I'm going with a SAS on the front either 4cyl or V6 2wd would come out cheaper then buying a 4wd and having to part out the things I do not need.
But what really helps is having a friend who's dad owns a salvage yard..

We gave the blue on to our nephew that graduated a couple years ago and I have been wanting another one since. These are the best daily drivers. Found this one this past weekend and can say I am glad to be driving a 4runner again.
