Just picked up another 3rd gen yesterday. My first was a 2000 sport supercharged pictured below. After selling it i found out that i couldnt live without one so after looking for several months i found this 1997 limited, 4x4, 140k E-Locker, its exactly what i was looking for and this suckers clean!

thanks ace, i was looking for white, evergreen pearl or anthracite but the second two are pretty hard to come by. Im liking the white so far though and it should look clean when i lift it etc. Its an auto, i almost bought another 5 speed in san marcos but decided id rather have an auto with a locker then a 5 speed w/o.

Hey guys, new guy here. Planning on getting a sound system soon, and just purchased LED dome and tag lights that should be arriving in a few days. Lots of plans for mods, not so much money haha
Any ideas?

Another fun weekend. Removed the rear sway bar and got the measurements.

w/sway bar---w/o sway bar
Stuffed 16.5"---15"
Hanging 31.5"---33"
Total Flex 15"---18"

Front w/sway bar
Stuffed 22"
Hanging 25.5"
Total flex 3.5"

Measurements taken from axle center to bottom of fender flare. That's an easy way to gain 3" of flex! And mine is staying off. It's not unmanageable at all even with only 20psi in the tires. It feels like it rolls a little more in the corners but that's expected. It's a 4x4 not a sports car. I'm taking the front off next but will more than likely just be getting discos for it rather than run w/o.

He was riding with me and we found his buddy stuck in a nasty hole. There was a brand new Z71 trying to pull him out but it wasn't happening. Nothing the new winch couldn't handle.

Then he got me to go up this crazy sloped piece of trail. Says that he made it in his Liberty. That's the most angle I've ever been in and it felt like it was gonna go. Funny thing, when I finally got up it he informed me that he's never taken his Liberty up that and probably never would. $hithead!

Just bought this 2001 SR5 with only 65K on it! Here it is after a fresh coat of wax..





only problem i have now is the radio backlight..
ive taken it out of the dash and cleaned the connections as instructed and it worked for 1 night...its been out ever since..any suggestions?

Very clean. I'd just toss a new head unit in. If you intend on doing any off roading I'd definitely suggest a deck that is iPod/USB comparable.

Nice man. Your rig looks just like mine did when i got it, minus the gold and fender flares. And were both in Alabama how bout that. Being on this site will definitely make ya mod crazy..
