Thanks, I am really likeing them, pretty queit on the road wearing nicely with about 3,000 miles on them, and so far doing good for the off roading I do, cant wait to try them out in the snow this winter

Just picked up another 3rd gen yesterday. My first was a 2000 sport supercharged pictured below. After selling it i found out that i couldnt live without one so after looking for several months i found this 1997 limited, 4x4, 140k E-Locker, its exactly what i was looking for and this suckers clean!

i got the EXACT same truck. just got 3 inch spacer in the front and 2.5 in the back and i think it looks pretty good. debating what bumper to get

what lift are you running?

Full details in my sig, but im running a mix of the toytec front coils, diff drop and pan hard drop, Bilteins on all 4 corners and then LC 9 wraps in the rear. Rides very smooth on the street and flexes like crazy, sway bar is off too.

Yeah, those gold emblems are soon to be black, in the process of doing that now. Just intstalled my LED tag lights and should have my led dome lights in tomorrow. Yup, we are both in Alabama haha, Roll Tide!

So I posted some pics before, and ppl gave me some advise that i was planning on doing anyways, and now that it is done I figured I would post some pictures, i just have kings in the front and LC 7.5 wraps in the rear, now the tires are to small:redbrick: at a 265/70/17, so once they wear out then ill get bigger till then they will have to work! Also need to level it so it sits even stitting 39.75in rear and 37.75in front.

Thanks found them for $350 on craiglist and they were in good condition, and fits perfect, Im new to the site and this is probably stupid but how do you make a signature that will appear at the bottom of each post?

Looks much better. Do LC coils settle at all if they are used? dumb question, I know. I'm sick of my OME 891's. WAY too stiff and not enough lift for me.

im sure they might settle a little bit....maybe .5inch.... just my guess, but they are used with like 180k on them so they are already broken in and shouldnt get to much drop from them over time. FYI at the time of the last picture with the LC coils on it, i have 2 12" subs, plus the box and 2 amps, tool kit, a full size jack and 2 40lb cinder blocks in the very back... so roughly 200-275lb directly in the back end, and it still sits great, no sag at all, so im pretty happy with the way it turned out for 75$.....still running stock shocks :redbrick:

From what ive seen most people say they can settle up to and even over an inch depending on what wrap you have and how long they were off of a vehicle before being reinstalled on your truck since they expand over time when they dont have any weight on them.

i guess that could be right, if they have been off a vehicle for a long period they could expand a little, making them settle when reinstalled, I guess in my case they came off the LC last month, so i should be safe...Hopefully

I bought them from KSL.com a local selling listing site, just got lucky i guess cuz i was going to buy the OME 891 and found the LC 7.5 last min, but i almost got them for this site https://fs6.formsite.com/cruiserparts/form245755470/secure_index.html they are 45$ a coil with 15-20$ for shipping, so 110$ and they will mix the sizes if you want, just tell them your lifting a 3rd gen. 4runner, the guy that i was emailing knew exactly what i was doing when i told him i wanted 7.5 wrap LC coils, hope this helps, i will also keep my eyes open to see if i can track some down, it can a pain in the a......
