I recently got some bigger tires 295/70/17's and blacked out my rims, I think it looks pretty good, hopefully be changing out my bumpers next

wow those look great! did you just mark off that emblem on your wheels and paint around it?

I actually just masked off the lugs, and sprayed the whole thing, i used plasti dip, so i was able to trace the emblem with a razor and it peeled right off the emblem pretty easy!

Wow those rims look sweet. My rims are peeling and looking nasty, I may have to give the plasti dip a try.

Do you have to prep the wheels if you plasti dip them?

Looks sick man, I had mine sprayed charcoal last year...might have to go back to it!

Just clean them like you normally would. I did some of the undercarriage and the tow hitch last fall without any prep except light hose water. Probably once a week this winter I use high pressure water on everything and the plastidip holds up with no problems. I've peeled it off painted surfaces and man that stuff adheres really well. Soap and water is all you need.

Awesome. I'm gonna have to try some of that out.

Could always take a Sharpie to the weights to make 'em blend in. Might be a little less messy than painting & dealing with possible overspray on new wheels. Just a thought...

i have a black paint marker that would work better than a sharpie... thats a good idea. i think im going to do that today. thanks

I love this color, especially the transition from light colored top, medium colored fender/cladding to dark colored wheel. Nice truck too!
