Thanks man! I try to keep her looking nice. This was just after a quick wash that the body shop had done and it sat for probably a couple days after, judging by the dust. Once it gets a bit nicer out, I'll be hitting the whole thing with clay bar; she's in desperate need of a good waxing. Will try to have that LC wheel shot posted up for you soon, I believe you asked me about that a little while back.

On a side note, I noticed that you are running 883 and 8 wraps: do you know what color code 8 wraps you have, and do you have a picture of how it sits with your lift? I'm about to pay for the shortest 8 wraps (double purple blue white) and hope it sits evenly.

Those are the same 8 wraps I have (double purple blue white). One thing I did recently notice, the passenger side sits about 3/4 of an inch higher than my driver's side (with near full tank and no people/gear in truck). Maybe its the gas tank, maybe one of the coils is designated as a drivers side? But then why would they have the same paint code? I'm waiting for this tank to run out, measure, then I'm going to try to swap them and see what I find out.

I really do like the feel of the coils, but I HATE my rear OME nitrocharger shocks(60027). I know they are extra load shocks, got them with 891's, but they are way to stiff. Getting rear bilstiens 5125 when I can afford them.

Sitting on level ground, I do have a bit of a rake. But I like the look of a rake.

Yup, you got me Iphone HDR pic, I love the way it makes the image pop. I tried to make it look as natural as possible but its hard not to over do it a bit! :jump:

Looks good man. I believe there is a slight difference in the coils in that the driver side coil is about 1/2 - 3/4" taller to compensate for the gas tank, which is on the driver side of the truck. Glad I found someone with the same codes as me so I can unload a bunch of questions on you haha. Do you like how they flex? Did they settle after the first few days? How's your panhard bar look with that much lift? I just ordered a panhard drop, I figured that it could handle 2.5" of lift without worrying about buying the drop then, but with 8 wraps it's a bit of insurance.

What size tires are those? Your signature says 285/75/16, but they don't look like 285's.

Hmm...that lift just makes them look a little small to me. Ha.

It's almost like you could fit a larger tire. What do you think? Is there room?

Not with these wheels... without spacers anyways. they rub pretty good on the UCA while turning both directions, and on the frame rail behind the passenger tire. They do stuff up in the wheelwells nice when flexed.:boink:
I found out it sits pretty tall when you start out with '99 talls and then space them with the RevTek kit...just waiting for the front to sag or something before I get some 882's or 883's to replace them with.:biggrin2:

Just picked up this 2001 SR5 4x4. It's in amazing shape. I plan on adding a sleep platform and I'll probably take off the side steps. I'll keep it mostly stock besides that. This is replacing my 95, that just hit 205,000.

Anyone in Arizona interested in buying the 95?

Here's my blank canvas, just picked it up today. 148,000 miles on a 2001 2wd. Perfect for my needs - gonna pack it full of car seats and haul my peeps around with me to the lumberyard/mexican food restaurant/etc. and use it for general runabout. Love the little thing. Spent all day washing/waxing/vacuuming/armoralling - and that should be the end of the babying! Took some pics right before supper this evening, before it gets dirty again! Big John came by in his Pajamas on his M1030M1, just to say Hi! Plan to add a roofrack (for lumber that doesn't fit inside) and rear wind deflector to keep the caliche dust off my back window, bump the tire size up a tad at some point, etc. All in good time.
