4RUNNER para ustedes me encontre con este foro MUY BUENO con muchas modificaciones para hacerle a la camioneta
BUENO me llamo alejandro y mis amigos me dicen IL NIATO
TENGO una TOYOTA SW4 3.0 TD 1997 que compre en 2010 a la que le hice 6500 kilometros en estas vacaciones sin problemas por el sur argentino :fishing: y 4X4 mas no se puede pedir
bueno espero no les moleste que escriba en castellano yo uso el traductor para leer los post de ustedes .:bravo:

I just used a translator, which isn't 100% accurate, but to paraphrase a bit..

He said he's glad he found this forum, and with all of the modifications he has seen on our trucks he has a good idea of things to do to his truck to make it better. He has a 1997 4Runner (SW4?) with the 3.0l Turbo Diesel. He says you couldn't ask more from a 4x4 truck.. it works really well for southern Argentina.

Also he said he hopes he doesn't bother us speaking Castilian.. which is just another name some people use for the Spanish language (via google.. it's a more pure form of Spanish)


Alejandro, you should post some pictures of your 4Runner. Many of us wish we could get the diesel option in our 4Runners. They don't offer a diesel engine 4Runner in the United States.

first pictures with pp springs

I tried to get a few pictures of my 4Runner today. I haven't posted any since I install the PP springs. I haven't done an alignment yet, and I'm not sure how much that will change anything stance wise. It definitely needs the alignment though.

I'll try to get better pictures after an alignment.

The results of getting stuck in a mud pit. It took me 20 minutes to get out but I got out without help. The water was up to the base of the doors. Ended up ripping the stock skid right off. Recently replaced with a Budbuilt piece.

Hey NateMA ............looks like fun in the mud. Nice looking 4Runner, gotta love the color. I just purchased the Bushwacker flares set, I really like the look.


It's been satisfying bringing the build together and watching the transformation. Getting it to look and function just as envisioned is awesome.

Wow the lime green looks sick. When imagining the emblems something other than black/chrome/gold I think it would look weird, but your looks good! your truck looks great. Is the rear bumper plasti dipped or painted or stock black?

So i took the boats out last weekend :surfer:, the runner did pretty good towing! think I got about 3-4 mpg though with the Mastercraft it only dropped the rear 1.5 in with the LC coils! On the other hand with the Calabria, it was a little heavier overall especially on tongue weight as you can see, but thats also with 3 ppl in the back seat, dropped 2.5in
