thanks guys. the basket is actually a factory audi part that i had on my Thule racked A4, but it worked better on the 4runner.

Audi had them on closeout a few years ago and could be had for 1/5th of the normal price. If you rreeeaallllyyyyy still want one, be prepared for sticker shock.

I completely understand where you're coming from regarding some prices we're willing to pay just to have some certain rare items.

We care to value it's worth more than worth of it's value....something like that.

Yeah I have heard of it. It's out by Ouray and I don't get out that way much. But I think we are planning a trip out there late summer.

Spent some time on a fresh wash n' wax today and wanted to show off a few new mods. Trevor over at Crawlorado.com hooked me up with some TRD-Off Road decals along with some special order 4Runner decals for the lower front doors. Trevor color/shadow matched the 4Runner decals to match the TRD's for me and they turned out great.
I also Plasti-Dipped the emlems but I still need to finish the front grill emblem.

I also finished up on an LED cupholder mod recently, both front and rear.
And the reason for the fresh wash/wax is because I started painting my frame (rust on the welds) and got alot of overspray!:happens:

Since it is street legal he often drives it around town. Whats funny is seeing a vette roll pass only to slowdown and take a second look. It gets a lot of thumb ups or three horn beeps to run. It screams and is crazy fast.

Thanks Awpsome, your ride is look'in sweet as well. I grew up on the slopes of Pu'owaina Crater ( Punchbowl).

Funny thing about these 4Runners, just when you think it's all pow, u start think'in ahway that would look ono. Next will be a rear bumper, break out the checkbook AGAIN.

The 4Runner has been a nice addition to the stable fo sur'ah.

Oh Duke, Head of Security, that's the way he rolls like a gangsta, especially with the ladies. He's a year old and tipping the scales at 74lbs. He loves hanging out the back hatch window.

I had seen the smoke tails on another white runner here and had to have them. I'm very happy.
