said bye bye to the chrome grille and hello to black pearl.. looks a lot better and matches my badges.. let me tell ya, it's a lot easier getting the grille out when you don't care about it than it does getting it back in when you do care cus of fresh paint. The ARB made it tricky as hell.

I love this thread, i recently just bought my T4r i looked for one for a long time, I picked mine up off of craigslist from a old man, its a 96 with 75k on it, absolutely flawless, its 4x4, i really wanted a manny but it was an auto and i figured i wouldnt find another with this low miles in this good shape for my budget, so i picked it up for 6850$ which was a really good deal, i cant wait to put some new tread on it and i decent lift but ive been saving and trying to figure out what was the best for the money so if you guys have any advice please hit me up and let me know

Recently up near Post Canyon in Hood River. Gotta love the Columbia Gorge.

Not a pic but I did a deeper river crossing we got some footage of. Ended up crossing it 12 hours later and it was even deeper, Front of my hood was under water. Not a wave, under water. Took a more direct line into the current and all was fine but I was definitely wanting a snorkel.

Yeah this was the way out and the 2nd time I crossed it. The first time earlier that day it was high but not scary high. It was raining like crazy during, and the past 4 days pretty hard. Also this collects a lot of run off from the foothills and mountains that are still melting out. You can kind of see the truck start to float/turn with the current in the video. Luckily it has a nice gravel base and lots of traction though. The last time I crossed it was ridiculous. Coming across the river from lower below at an angle helped a lot. That, and the fast current creating its own bow wake with my intake on the downstream side helped but still very scary.

Wow idk how some of you guys try that without a snorkel. I havent taken my runner offroad yet but I dont see how the starter isnt destroyed or the engine compartment isnt flooded...

Sweet river crossing. Wish I could find somewhere like that in my area to test my snorkel. I wouldn't cross that without one, already stalled mine twice and built my own snorkel. Now it refuses to rain!

Haven't really done much to my 4runner lately, but I did pick up this used 02 Sport Edition grille. I think it looks 100x better than the original chrome and the blacked out one I put on for a little bit.

First time posting on this thread. Daily Driver and sometimes off-roader.
One month out with BFG's stock are 265/70/16 I upgraded to 265/75/16's and recently turned the white's out. I think it looks cool.



Some climbing and poser pics...Plan to do more mods once she belongs to me! :hungry:



This was the most technical I've done so far, I am standing on some rock outcroppings and just came out of a washout just narrow enough for the Runner to fit through...It's hard to get pics that don't look lame though?? Any threads out there with tips on picture taking?

Welcome.. looks like a good start.

Just take a few pics from different angles and thumb through them when you load them to your computer. Then just delete the ones ya don't like. No pic is a bad pic really and it's always fun to see rigs out in nature.

Just another .02 is if you plan on uploading lots of pics get a photobucket or similar file sharing account and you cann use an img code to post.

On the way home from desert shooting, I decided to try out Pilot Rock for the first time this Memorial Day weekend. I don't have enough seat time under my belt nor confidence so I kept the climb to a minimum. These pics are from the way out. Being such a newb I got tippy taking wrong lines in this particular section a couple times. It looks so easy in pics :wtf: All in all the ride triggered excitement and fun which was what I was looking for out of this mini trip :reddance:
