First run with 2001 SR5

Just got a 2001 SR5, Ive been saving for a while and finally pulled the resources together and made it happen.

Took it out for its first run over the weekend. Went out to Peralta Trail just outside of Phx, AZ. Nothing to Crazy, but it did great!

Did a little riding this weekend.

Then cleaned her up & finally got those running boards off.

That looks pretty good. I wondered what a black runner would look like with it rhino lined like that. I wish I could do a good job with that stuff at home.. I might consider doing it to mine.. got a nasty door ding that has nice sized chunk of paint missing now.. rhino lining would fix that problem up quick, and not have to worry about it not turning out good like with touch up paint (big area).

Your truck looks totally badass, man! While I had those KM2's in my garage, all I was doing was checking out your build thread, lolol. Trying to get a glimpse of what I was in for.

Here's a pic I took today out in San Clemente. I just liked the lighting. I love how M/T's look dirty. The black tread on a dirty tire makes me happy, haha.

No offence guys, this site is filled with tons of great rigs, but looking at mods, overall condition of the rigs, and MY tastes....these are just my choices. I made these choices, for the theme they present to me....they are stock looking rigs, that are far from stock!

I'd also like to add, and show some love for the Fully modded / often wheeled rigs: (had to add 4Runnit's....forgot about his!)

Bro I did all that Herculiner at home one day. Sanded everything down put on 2 coats and the UV protectant and was good to go. You just gotta make sure you tape that joker off good cuz once its on there its pretty tough to get back off! It only cost me bout 95 bucks in all.

Yeah man thanks! If I were going to sit down and list my favorites they would definitely have to be in different categories like fully built rigs, mild rigs, and stock. Definitely way too many nice trucks for even that though!

Wow, #2? I never thought anyone would rank my truck that high at all. I usually don't rank myself up there, but then again.... most of your guy's trucks didn't need a lot of the crap I needed to do just to make it on par with a stocker (cargo panels, cargo cover, flares, hood, roof rack, spoiler, painted bumper, then the list of replacement parts goes on and on).
