I agree fightman. Blckstpgsr's was my first favorite (like first love all over again). BTW, yours aint to shabby fightman. I'd also throw in Hepars, Big Fish AD, 8SM, Ripcord, Marines (I forget who bought it), four flusher, i'm sure there's more I just can't think of them at the moment.

I love the color of your 01 with the sport hood it is so clean, with an aggressive stance, tastefully appointed right out of the box.

Other than deciding to go with the " white out " I must give full credit to all who contributed and shared their ideas and builds. All collectively inspired my direction. I'm humbled for being mention amongst such nice builds, for sure.

Wow, #2? I never thought anyone would rank my truck that high at all. I usually don't rank myself up there, but then again.... most of your guy's trucks didn't need a lot of the crap I needed to do just to make it on par with a stocker (cargo panels, cargo cover, flares, hood, roof rack, spoiler, painted bumper, then the list of replacement parts goes on and on).

Hey Blcktpgsr, Very Nice Rig! I was wondering where did you get the rear tire carrier. Where can I get one? Is it a direct bolt on?

I ordered it thru a Japanese vehicle importer locally, minor modification was necessary on the mounts to make them fit flush against the body panel of the truck especially the lower hinge mount...there are 3 holes that had to be made for the upper and 2 for the lower hinge on the quarter panel, some longer bolts/nuts and welding work for reinforcement.

Just after I bought it and cleaned it. Awful Grabbers 255/70/16.

A year later, with running boards off and Firestone Destination ATs 265/75/16. Put some generic rubber flaps behind the front wheels.

I can't find em but I guess that's alright, you still have an original runner .

I would definitely buy a rack from you if I had a runner and I may end up building one for my taco but I know I'd take it off down the road anyway to do a flatbed conversion.

It's all in my build thread, but I ordered the spare tire carrier and the actual Hilux Surf tail gate. I don't think you can find these items online unless you go to U.K. Surf forum or something. U.S. might not be eligible for import for another 4-5 years from what I gathered.

Got to take my 4runner to the Great American Park in Auburn, Al with a friend of mine (Izusu Trooper) this weekend. The park was pretty awesome and had anything from obscenely large mud bogs to Huge rock sections.
