2000 4Runner Lighting Up the Night

Hey everyone. I'm new to the forums and a proud, new 3rd Gen. 4Runner owner. I'm really happy with my truck and I love the community around 4Runners. This site has been a great resource for information.

I recently completed a big project on my 2000 4Runner 4x4 Limited installing a Gobi Stealth Rack and a bunch of auxiliary lights. I'll be posting a build thread with the wiring details and such sometime soon. It was a ton of work, frustrating at times, but ultimately lots of fun. Forgive the lack of a tailgate ladder in these pictures. Gobi is working on getting one to me ASAP.

Grayson, truck looks great!

What wheels are those?? What is the backspacing? I love the look of the fake beadlocks, and have wanted some for a long time! You running wheel spacers? Tire size?? Lots of questions!!

I appreciate it man! I got them from 4WheelParts. Last summer they had a sale going on and I was able to pick them up for just over $100 a wheel.

The wheels are the KMC XD795 Hoss 16x8, the backspacing is 4.5 inches. I'm running 285/75/16 BFG's with no wheel spacers. I plan on ordering some soon but I'm clearing the UCAs and the tires aren't rubbing on the fenders so it's not a necessity right now.

MAN! Those Gobi racks look good. Those are far and away the best looking rack for the 3rd gen IMHO. Too bad you have to pay through the nose to buy one. Did you get a deal on yours or did you have to pay retail?

I'll be looking forward to seeing your build thread and more pics of the install.

very cool pics man. and thats a one of a kind rack system. I believe your the 2nd owner of it that is on this fourm.

BTW im very interested in what camera set up you used? any photoshop on the pictures?

I agree BigFish, That is by far the best looking model-specific roof rack, though I wouldn't get the stealth version, I like the taller one...:hungry:
