Just finished my front grill mod today...

The grill looks awesome and the fog lights will help immensely. Great idea for hooking them up.

I hate to say this, but I think it is time for an alignment. Look at the inside shoulders of your tires. (I hope it is just an alignment and not a need for new shocks to keep the tires from cupping).

Thanks! Yeah, it's a hell of a rack. excellent build quality.

No Photoshop or computer trickery really. Added a minor vignette, but that's it. I'm a photographer by trade and I'm big on getting the picture right in-camera. Canon EOS 5D (1st generation), 28-70mm, ISO 100, relatively wide aperture to avoid to much starbursting on the lights. Tripod of course...

MAN! Those Gobi racks look good. Those are far and away the best looking rack for the 3rd gen IMHO. Too bad you have to pay through the nose to buy one. Did you get a deal on yours or did you have to pay retail?

I'll be looking forward to seeing your build thread and more pics of the install.

I agree. And they definitely are pricey, but worth every penny in my opinion. I paid $1428 total. It was painful, but I know I'm going to have this truck for years and years. Great company to work with, too. Got a free ladder and they even gave me a free hi-lift jack mount.

thanks for the advice...but i just bought the 4r a week ago and the previous owner got all the service done a month before selling and that includes alignment....paperwork are also provided..yay

I like them fog lights. What brand is that and how did you mount them? I like where you mounted them. Only thing the cover looks yellowish and not clear, is it just the lighting when you took the picture?

i got it from a local harbor freight store..$9 sale.:banana:

they are yellow and i like 'em, they also have a clear one but 1" smaller.
i saw some holes on the bumper already so i used those.. i didnt drill any new ones.

I got my new rims on today. Mickey Thompsons and Toyotas do not ike eachother. I have OME 882 in the front, a 1.25" spacer and I had to trim to fit stock tires. I only need about a 3/4inch spacer to clear the MT's from the Tundra calipers.

Got my new lights installed! Lightforce Striker 170's with the yellow combo filters, and 100w bulbs, they are impressive!

New OL Rear Swing-out Bumper & painted wheels. (I don't like the painted wheels. I'd like others input to decide if I should leave them, go with a tan color that matches my trim, or paint them back to silver. I just think that graphite color doesn't look right with my trim color. I know what you are thinking, and I'm not going to paint my trim black.)

I thought about that...I think the black wheel paint has a gloss finish and my bumper and sliders are matte black so I thought that might look funny.

I think silver would definantley look better than the graphite. I loved the way they looked until they went on the car. I am going to get a tube front bumper eventually, probably after Christmas. I really want to paint the wheels to match the trim, but I guess I'm too much of a poon-tang to try it. Plus I would have to find an exact color match to be happy with it. I dont know where I can find rattle can color match for that trim. I've looked at Auto Zone and they are all a slight shade off. Too may choices...
