Glad you guys like it . I actually have a lot less in the interior as people think. Since I did all of it myself, I saved a lot. The headliner itself was the easiest part. You just have to remove most of the upper panels and since I gutted mine it was easy. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot of work and not a weekend job.

As for the wheels, I honestly have no idea who makes them. There aren't any markings on them. My best friend lives in Japan and he gave me a website of this local shop near him that sells used wheels/parts and I saw these for $100 for all 4 without tires. I snatched them up especially since they were 16x8s 0 offset! I look every week and they have killer deals. I might order another set since they're so cheap.

The interior is still a work in progress and everything was done by me. (Just have the dash to finish).

I bought the truck and the interior was shot so I decided to gut it completely and upgrade everything to 99-02 since junked 4runners are very abundant here in Central Florida.

Rear panels, lower door sills, Oh Sh!t! handles and lower panels on the seats are all rhino lined since thats what gets the most wear and tear. The seats, door panel inserts and arm rest are leather wrapped in brick red. Headliner was done in black, visors in black suede and all other panels were dyed black.
I couldn't dye the seat belts so I installed rear grey ones and left the tan ones up front, but they're hardly noticeable. Carpet was a honda civic black kit that my brother gave me lol and it fit fairly well. I also used a fine black carpet for the rear hatch area and dyed limited mats that came out very well.

Haha you went way further than I did on my original interior recolor. You just need one more piece done...

Great work on the interior man! I love to see someone do a mod that hardly nobody else has done! :trophy:

It's such hard work to do so. Now that my current 3rd gen is my project again I'm going down this road after I finish the lift and repaint of the exterior!

Yep, i've seen Twin peaks a few times. And the town of Roslyn where Northern Exposure was filmed is a cool place. The burgers at the Roslyn Cafe are really good!:hungry:

My neighbors kid, maybe 8 or 9 year-old Korean girl, walked by this afternoon while I'm cleaning my wheel getting it ready for paint. She stops and tells me she likes my 'car' pointing at my 4runner with the green wheels and green bumer. The love starts early with the third gen, I guess

This is the color I asked the autobody shop to put on my bumper. I might have to go over it and get it a bit darker.

The bumper and wheel are almost the same shade, but a bit off.

Plans on green

My wife disagrees with the color and is embarrassed about the choice. However, my plans are:

1. Same green paint as the wheels all over the body.
2. Black rear license plate surround, green '4runner' above the license plate.
3. Black 'toyota' on bottom right of rear gate. (I do not have the 'sr5' on the back or the '4wd', because it is a base 4 cylinder model, but it is a 4wd also).
4. Black roof rack, black door handles (like they are now), blacken up the rear spoiler (it is faded a bit) above the rear power window.
5. I am on the fence about removing the thin chrome strips on the fender flares. I think I want to, but not sure yet. If I leave them there, I'll paint those black too.
6. Remove running boards, but the 4 and 6-year-old kids I have need them there.
7. Wiper arms will stay black, not green.
8. Grille will stay black.
9. Front lower valance/fascia (located below the bumper) is off and is waiting to be installed. I painted it black and green already. I have the old hardware, but I need to get new hardware to reinstall it. The old hardware is rusted, as is to be expected on a 14-year-old vehicle.
10. Uncertain of the skid plate color. Maybe Red.
11. Black or green calipers...having trouble deciding. Black probably.
12. Black rear brake drums.

That's the plan, stan.

you wouldn't have the 4WD badge anyway, they didn't start putting that badge on until '99.
