just threw in my 99 tall coils the other night. thanks again izzardking for the great deal on them and boosted for the help installing them and the use of your shop and lift, it made this so much easier!

and with out further ado the pics







it just put me back to stock height, maybe a slight bit over, but with my 285s and all the weight of the armor i have and all the gear(for search and rescue) i hall around i was starting to rub a lot and was riding low(dirty). so the 99s picked me back up enough so my rubbing became very very minimal and only at full flex and full lock once again.

i didnt take before and after pics or measurements (i know i should have but forgot). so no telling exactly how much i got out of it, but its over an inch know that. i think it looks a ton better too, just cant take corners as fast anymore :dammit:

they fit, just slight rub on the inside on the frame rail, back by the fire wall nothing to concern me enough to go back to 265s

Here's my 98. Nothing special. Blacked out the bumpers, grille and fender flares. Tinted 5% all around. 265/75 16 A/T's. Cold air intake, Flowmaster muffler. Like I said nothing near as cool as most of the 3rd gens on this site but more is to come. Toytec EMU 3" lift shoulb be here in the next week or so.

Damn. I really wish I would have gone bigger. I was pretty sure that 285 would fit in the back, but was unsure about the front.

I'll stick with the 265's for awhile. They're pretty new. I'm going to get wheels before 285's. I'm hoping to have everything,(lift and wheels) no later than Xmas.

nope those are not a 35, looks to be like a 33 or 33.5 tire so probably like a 285 75 17 or so, maybe even a 255 85 17 but def not a 35

Went wheeling at Seddon's Corner on Sunday, about an hour from the city. A HUGE series of gravel pits, and the coolest place to wheel and learn what you can/can't get away with that I've found so far! Played in the gravel, mud, sand, hills, lots of variety here.
