i know for a fact that they were a factory option in the 2nd gen surfs. maybe they were in the 3rd gens too, though I dont think they'd be too hard to swap in

They were an option in SSR-G trim 2nd and 3rd gen Surfs.

No, the square license plates are only for moto and tractors.

Bumper is old. I do not like new style.
The original lights were converted into the xenon lens.

But I did not like the result. New original lights have been ordered:bluejump:
