Been reading a lot on here. I spent about a month reading posts on issues before I even started looking for the 4R, which lead me to the gen and model I wanted.
I already have quite a few parts on the way from Rock Auto and some other vendors. First thing to go is the Mickey Thompson fake beadlockers and the swamper tires. Also have a transmission cooler inbound so I can avoid the dreaded pink milkshake.

...to you. I figure you are a proactive person and had read enough to make smart decisions. BigFishallDay did a great job on showing others how to do the remote trans cooler. I posted my cooler install there, too, with his guidance.

dude you dont like those MT wheels!? man thats one of the few sets of aftermarket wheels i like on the 4runner... they are an amazingly strong wheel and high quality wheel too. they have a much more "pronounced" lip to help hold the bead when you are running lower PSI, if i was closer to you id try and snatch those up from you. but shipping to me would be a killer so no dice. anyhow if i was you id keep those wheels. but yeah the swampers eh they gotta go

Nothing wrong with the MTs, just not the look I am going for. I'll be switching to a comparable wheel and probably switching to AT tires.

I had my locker "stick" on in a parking lot the other night, and while I was doing circles I decided to snow bank. It also helped me loosen the bolts on the motor.

Hard to tell, but my rear right side of the bumper was only a couple inches from the ground.

Also more crappy phone pics, but where I crawled up that bank the Taco nearly rolled. LC coils and flex ftw!

Evans definitely had a scare. He leaned pretty damn hard when he slid a little back down before ending up where he was. I know I clenched so I can imagine what he was feeling.

Pretty happy with the bumpers. Need to finish painting them but this cold weather isn't helping. Also a little more work to do with the front.

revisited an old bridge ive known about for some time out in western washington co., glad its still there, and all the logging thats gone on around it has not ruined it. their used to be an old home site there, but about 80years ago the home burned to the ground, leaving only the chimney and foundation

i want to buy a ECU computer,and my 4runner is 1997 limited without E-locker ,but my P/N is 89661-3D270,and most other's is 89661-3D321,or 3D320, it's still fit to my vehicles? does someone knows what diffrence between 3D321 and 3D270?
