3wbdriver's 2014 TE build thread.

I can't believe I never posted a picture of the OME front and Toytec Superflex rear setup. 2" lifted all around.

Doesn't look like you've added many stickers lately!

Just got back from a 4K mile road trip, it was kinda like your trip, except I just drove through twelve states and only stopped in two, haha. I think I really needed about 5 more days to do everything I wanted but oh well, had to get back for work. :faint:

None since the trip. And that picture actually pre-dates the April trip by a few weeks. All of those pics are in that thread. I guess I could resurrect this thread with a few pictures from that one. Good to hear your trip went well.

Photo courtesy of thelouv. Who I didn't even know I was talking to at the time because he was disguised as a Jeep driver...

I could have bypassed this hole on the left, but NOOOOOOO, I was too cocky and knew the 4R would just roll right through it. Little did I know the clay was too slick for the fronts to get a bite to pull up out of it to the side, and the tree out of picture to the right wouldn't allow a straight run. To its credit the White Whale did back right out, but this little hole was my humility check for the day. You can't see me in the vehicle because I'm hiding under the dash hoping nobody will notice us.......

Disguised as a jeep driver. ..lol

Any issues with grounding your CB to the Bajarack?

I honestly couldn't say. I have run no separate ground. It works fine for the short range trail riding that I use it for and everyone I have asked says it is loud and clear. But I haven't ever tested it for range or put a meter on it.

Got my Bushwacker Pocket Flares installed today. Took me about 2 hours start to finish, not counting washing it down to the OMG White and a couple smoke breaks. I also had to trim a 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" piece out of the front flares to fit over the square tube of the Shrockworks sliders. Knocked right out with a Dremel. Sorry about the pics. I keep forgetting OMG White and clear sunny skies do not make for good pictures!!!

Under a little bit less light. The old Blazer is going away next week. I've swapped it for a Magnaflow catback exhaust including installation. Sad to see it go, but I'm just too beat up to do the work it needs.

Got the Magnaflow 15584 exhaust kit (3" side exit) installed today. Search indicates it is for 09-11 4Runner? 12-14 is a 15145 kit (2 1/2" rear exit) but otherwise I can't see a difference besides the straight vs side and 2 1/2" vs 3". Time will tell......

Tires look smaller with those fender flares now, time to upsize! :pop2:
