Dang look at that rear end! Excellent job blending in the bushwhacker flares as well.
Now about those 285's...
I MIGHT be willing to go 275 when these wear out. I really don't want to go to 285's. Lol
How are you liking the general grabbers? I have been thinking about getting them for my 4runner. I have a friend that works for general tire and can get me a little bit of a discount. But I haven't heard too much about them.
no tire swingout?
Installed my CBI bumper today. About 4 hours start to finish. The rear end only settled about 1/4" so far. Test drive and measure later. Daddy needs a hot soak. :crutch::bathbaby:
On another note, I measured the ride height today after adding the rear bumper with what is my normal full camping load. I still have 1" of rake and the rear end simply feels a little more planted over bumps. So I think I'll be fine with the current setup.
CJ,
Curious what the rear height measures out to, from ground to fender and center of wheel to fender if you get a chance. What do you estimate the normal load weighing?
It was nice to see the sun today, even if it was only temporary. Hope you've been able to stay dry.
I just wanted to say that the truck looks awesome. I don't know if you remember but we bought ours and showed up at the forums at pretty much the same time two years ago, I really like what you did with it since then. That's all.![]()
Up in Lincoln Parish. This area normally stays pretty dry but 15-20 inches of rain caused has caused historical flooding.
