4.7L Ignition Coil Bolts

Does anyone know the Toyota part number for the ignition coil bolts? I found 90105-A0103 in the forum for someone doing a V6 but every Toyota parts site says it doesn’t fit. I also found in some exploded view drawings of a 2UZFE which show 91641-h0625 but the parts sites say those don’t fit and it shows a washer. Is it just an M6x1mmx25mm flange bolt on the V8 as well? I’m having a hell of a time getting mine out to measure. 6 point sockets just spin on the bolt head. Sockets measure .400”across the flats. Bolts measure .395” across the flats. Pretty puzzled…

You need to get better quality sockets!!

.400 doesn't match up with either a metric or imperial system size socket!!

.395 however does match up rather closely to 10mm which is .3937

Yes, looking into that. Every 6 point I have is .400”. It also doesn’t help they put a .020” chamfer on the opening!

Just go get some 6mm -1.0 thread capscrews, that's the thread size. I replaced all mine with stainless with a stainless washer couple years ago.

Here you go 90080-11590

Got this done. The Koken Z series sockets are several thousandths tighter than a standard socket. They have a flank drive like shape to them. They worked well and are an incredible value. Also found a 10mm Snap-On Flank Drive Xtra (FDX). These are crazy expensive, super tight (tighter than std flank drive) and need a slight tap but they really , really grab. You may need pliers to pull the bolts out with these sometimes.

Dealership wanted $450 to do just plugs. I did plugs, coils and bolts for about $500.

Bolts: 90080-11590
Plugs: Denso 3297
Coils: Denso 673-1303
