Hey guys just traded in my fj for a 2012 4runner ltd and I might of already broke something.... I couldn't stand the location of my USB cable so I re routed it to the center console. I took off the front part of where the cup holder and 4 wheel dial is and when I reassembled the line on the dial that shows what option of four wheel drive your in is just black. I could of swore it was lit orange but taking the knob of it doesn't look like it's lit. Does anyone know off hand or can anyone check if the four wheel dial line lights up? Thanks in advance

did you turn on your headlights to see if that was affecting the dial lighting up or not...?

It's doesn't have a light .
There is a LED in the over head shining down on it though as well a under the dash shining the footwells.

Nope. No light. If you want to confirm that it still works, put in 4L and see if the dash indicators light up.

Now, go and break something for real :thumb3:

Hahaha not yet its too new,I think I'm still at the feel like I'm gonna throw up if I scratch it stage.

It won't truly be yours until you break or scratch something, anything! And after you have taken a dremel to it you can sit at the big kids table here. Then life will be all good
