Finally joined the 400K club!!! Got her used with 39,000 miles 1 owner in 2005. So many original parts its scary lol. Never had any engine, transmission, cooling system or differential work besides normal fluid changes. Still on original suspension with spacer lift. Original water pump, timing chains and head gaskets. Still on original front af sensors although I think they are getting lazy with 400K. Transfer case is not leaking. Shifts smooth as butter, no rumble strip action. No driveline thud, always keep the zerks happy. Overall the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned and easiest to maintain.

congrats, im at 87k also bought around 35 with 1 owner, I hope mine will last that long. I do have a bit of drive line, shifting thud though. What head unit is that?

That is awesome! Thanks for recording the moment, felt like I was sharing the excitement. I'll be pretty happy if mine makes it to 300k, currently at 163k. Like your 4runner, I haven't had to really replace anything other than normal maintenance items.

Congrats! Question, did you change the "lifetime" transmission fluid? with OEM fluid?

I think the rust will kill my truck far before the mechanics.

proof the V6 rules the 4Runner class...

The V8 would have required 4.44 timing belt changes for that mileage... or around $4,000 in upkeep costs...

And you have a 2003... I would've thought the head gasket would have blown the entire engine apart at 101,000 miles... haha

Good stuff.

:biggrin1:Awesome....congradulations. Kudos to you for being a pro-active owner and keeping her in tip-top shape.
