Hit 40k miles on the 4R and had the service done as well as lumbar replacement... to date zero issues beyond hazed headlights and lumbar (both replaced under warranty without question).
That is all! :bigok:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/79166-lumbar-support-crunching.htmlCreaky lumbar? Haven't heard about this yet, but once set isn't it something left alone? I like mine on full and played with settings before I settled on that. Doubtful I'd change it much. Hence no creaking? Or is it creaking otherwise?
no issues whatsoever. I did make a complaint about it at 30k and they couldnt replicate.... but they could this time and replaced it no questions asked. They are a great dealer for service....sales? not so much (Stadium toyota for anyone int the TPA area) they also replace headlights, did the auto roll down and seatbelt chime delete previously without questionSO they replaced the creaking lumbar at 40K with no problems? I took mine in at 37k and they made a huge deal about it saying they would have to cheat the system and record my mileage on that date at being under 36K because the TSB's weren't covered outside of the 36k bumper to bumper. Sounds like you have yourself a pretty fair dealership!
