Started on the valve cover gaskets, spark plugs/wires, pcv valve, 02 sensors (pulled a stud with one of the nuts), and oil/filter. Took a long time to clean off all the gunk on the covers, they must of been leaking for quite a while.

nice. i am doing my valve cover gaskets in a few more weeks. they look nasty, so i can imagine yours took a while to clean off.

Yea, had to use almost a full can of engine degreaser. Didn’t even bother cleaning the head/block. Have fun lol..
Just got my bamf sliders installed today, came out great. They had to cut the very bottom of the front fender flares. You can’t tell if your not looking for it. Also changed the coolant to the Toyota red coolant last night..

Ever since I got my valve covers back together I’ve been hearing this constant rattle on acceleration.. I think it might be the drivers side cv axle cause I wiggled it today and there is a lot of play where it goes into the front diff. Probably the damn needle bearing, I’m going to try and pin point it with a go pro camera..

Installed the strongman rear hatch struts, night and day difference.. Was a lot easier than I was expecting.

Got these in the mail yesterday..

Used that spray paint to paint my emblems, turned out great..

just removed my power steering reservoir to clean the screen, you can only see two dots of light the size of pin heads..

I had one of his guys do it after hours when I went to pick them up. Let me know if you find a place close to SF that does it, I think I’m going to get the pan hard correction kit soon..

That guy ships fast, got my PCK yesterday in the mail. Going to see if I can have one of my work buddies install it.. Got my tires mounted and balanced today feels great, no more vibrations at high speeds.. the km3’s are way more quiet than my ko2’s were.. probably because they were beat up from being at the wrong tire pressure/out of alignment. The power steering flush completely alleviated the whine from the pump.

Wow my fingers hurt.. The leather was only like 40-50$ On eBay, I think if I were to do it again I’d make my own from scrap..

looks great! i just had mine restitched as well. i had mine done though. no clue what I'm doing with upholstery. nice work.

Thank you! Yea actually I have new leather for the front seats I got on eBay, was like 600$. But now I’m not sure if I want to get new seat foam too, flippin foam costs more than the leather though lol.

Decided to get some stuff to repair the foam for like 50$. The process looked pretty legit on YouTube, we’ll see how it turns out..

Got some cool stuff over at Timmy the toolman & Sean’s BBQ/sicmods day. Scored a set of rear durobumps from the raffle, woot! Thanks [MENTION=146407]Plastics guy[/MENTION] Also thanks for the remote programming tip [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION] just got both my remotes working. Can’t get the rear window button to work though, oh well..

Got a lot done today.. installed a new fuel filter, got the switches installed on the dash, got my rear bump stops installed, and my Tim stickers from yesterday.

Got the passenger seat reupholstered tonight it looks great. Here’s what the foam looks like after I repaired it, not perfect but seemed to work great. Will take a picture of the seat tomorrow after I reassemble it.

Finally finished the seats, now I just need to clean all the gunk off the carpet before I reinstall them. Removed the lumbar support & switch on the drivers side as it was not working and I dont really care to have it..

Thanks man! It’s my second time doing most of this stuff so I know where I went wrong last time lol. I got the whole switch setup from OTRATTW they have the most legit switches aside from OEM imo.

Just got these front skids in the mail from 4xinnovations, the front skid is 1/4” super beefy. Got my front duro bumps installed and I did the blue wire mod as well, took me a while to confirm the right wire..
