They came out of a friend's Tacoma.

So I finally got a weekend off. I decided to get the sliders modded and installed. I had to cut 1.8 of the front and 1.0 off the back.

From there I made a template and transferred that to some 3/16's plate to make caps for the ends that I cut off.

I would have liked to finish them off a little better but the sliders were double powder coated, so I did the best I could with the time I had. Finished off the ends with a little silver rattle can action.

So on Sunday I pulled the bumper off the install the new Warn 8000S, as well as finish up the wiring for the front lights and blinkers. The first issue was what to do with the control box. I needed some way to mount it, so I came up with this. Seems to work out good.

Oh and I had my little helper giving me a hand.

I didn't get any good pics of the wiring...But this is what I used. I went to the junk yard and got 4 of these, 2 black and 2 gray. I wanted to be able to disconnect the lights if I needed to take the bumper off or if I need to change out a light.

That's a damn nice runner! I wish I could afford to DD mine on 35's. They look soo right on 35's.

I had to cut my sliders down to clear my 35s too. I just did it on the truck with a sawsall, I still need to cap them. I'm just being lazy and working on my dodge.

When you beat them to shit and throw dirt on them you'll never even notice Lol. I wish I would take a more out of mine bc it rubs when I have my tires aired down. Otherwise, normal driving is fine.

So I got another weekend to work on my ride. So the goal this week was to get the interior stripped and run the wires for the lights on my roof rack and get my roll bar and tool box mounted. First things first, take out almost all the interior to expose the roof. Easier said than done, every time I take a grab handle off I have a screw that strips the head...

So my plan was to run the wires under the end cap on the roof rails. I found these real nice bulkhead fittings that would seal around the wire hopefully mitigating any leak potential. Unfortunately there just wasn't enough room for it with the sunroof.
