Yea it may be cheaper but it won't look as good and it might compromise the strength of the sliders. I would have to remove at least 3/4 of the tube front and back. So I'm not sure what to do yet.

I seriously doubt removing that much would compromise the strength of the sliders. Here's a good pic that shows what I had to do. I cut about an inch off the end, then cut a piece of scrap metal to match it and welded it on. If you haven't welded them on yet, I'd suggest moving them farther to one end of the truck if you can. To where maybe the back clears but not the front, or vise-versa. That way you're only cutting on one end.

Well had a few hours to work on my runner so I went after the projector head lights. What a pain in the ass. Actually it wasn't bad just disappointing. The drivers side had a lot slop between the housing and the the bracket, that was fun to fix. After getting out all wired I turned on the halos the passenger side had an issue. Only 3/4 of it worked...so bummed I can't even tell ya. Pics and stuff to follow.

Wow this truck is gorgeous Bryan!

Bummer about the halos. I wish the entire halo wasnt working, then it would probably be an easy fix like a bad driver. Shoot me an email, TRS will warranty the rings and I could probably walk you through the process to replace or we can work something else out to get you up and running.

Are those FX's? Do you have any output shots of them? I'm curious to see if the bumper interferes with any of the light output/cutoff.

Great stuff man! What's the final drive with those cases? We're gonna have to hang out when I get back. Help me out with the retrofit projectors and check out the crawl speed with those cases!

I've gotta ask, cause I've yet to see one on here, how do all the linkages/shifters fit in the cab(center console). I'm hoping by next year I will be able to afford to be dual locked with at minimum one reducer. And yes, one of my favorite expressions, as you can tell. P.s. Props on the millennium silver, it's like looking into a crystal ball at the future for my rig. :madgrin:
