going to order a bl and just wondering if getting the upgraded kit with the bigger blocks is worth the money

Upgrade as in heavyduty option, YES.
These options are what keep RB at the forefront. I've bought two body lifts and on bj spacers kit from him, and upgraded anyway available. A bl is basically $100, and to be sure you do it right (upgraded options), what's another $40. You get your $s worth with 4crawler FOR SURE, so how could cheaply upgraded hardware be UNgood

If you're just doing it for looks or to fit larger tires the standard stuff is fine.
If you're going to beat it up offroad, adding the heavy duty grade 8 hardware is worthwhile.
