Finally got my new plates: Toyota FTW!
How do you get plates that are personalized like that? Like where do you have to go? I'm assuming the DMV?

You wouldn't happen to remember where those switches are made, would you? I've been looking to pick some up, but I don't want to if they are made in China.

Thanks man! I really like the look and the Satoshi isn't very hard to do...If you don't want to do the Satoshi, you could just paint your current grille, that's what I did before I did the Satoshi and I really like the way it looked.
You have to get them at the DMV because you have to pay for the personalized plates. If you're in VA, here is a link the the website where you can check to see if a custom plate is available: https://www.dmv.virginia.gov/dmvnet/plate_purchase/select_plate.asp.
I don't know where they are made, but they are great switches and I would highly recommend them.

Yeah the large quotes definitely clutter the thread...

Looks like things are coming along nicely. I agree about the large quotes. It is not that hard to delete the pictures when quoting people! Edit the quotes or create new quotes with the text only - Don't be lazy. Even better = go back and edit them now

I have clear everything on my front end, and I don't really care for the looks of it, but the previous owner put it there so I'll leave it until they break(hopefully they don't)

It would look good on mine, but my dad's name is on the title and of course he would murder me even for something as small as that. I appreciate the offer, but I don't want to risk it with the wrath of Satan haha.

I have clear everything as well and I really like the look. I think it just looks much cleaner than having the orange.
haha it will be a great feeling if/when you have just your name on the title. When I first got my truck, my parents helped me pay for it so both our names were on the title, but as soon as I payed them back, they transferred the title to me so its mine and I can do whatever I want to it and don't have to fear the wrath of Satan

That's what I'm working on, he cleared out my bank account and insists that I don't pay for the rest(just so he can tell me what to do), but Thursday I will be finding out if I can get a job at a local garage. One of the guys there works for Toyota, so I'm in good shape if I get in!

Well, I've decided I'd like to stick with clear. The reason being is I will be mounting Whelen Vertex lights in the parking light housings once I get into the regular fire dept. and have my blue light permit. I am very sorry for the late reply, I've been busy finishing up my stuff at the firehouse, and can finally go on calls!

Has that 4runner banner peeled? I have a banner I want to put on my windshield, but my dad is worried about it messing up the wipers, or the wipers messing up it. Have you had a problem with either of those scenarios?
