4R Sightings

Biff and NoDak, I can spot a 4th gen. 4Runner from distance. Whenever I am driving, I always tell anyone who is in the car when a 4Runner is approaching. Even when I am in someone elses car, I always make everyone aware that a 4Runner is coming. Then the people just look at me and think I am a weird car freak. Oh Well! :bandito:

There is literally about 50 4runners in my parking lot at work. Well atleast there are only about 10 04 Silver Sport Editions!!

i've only seen one silver 03 SE or SR5 with the body cladding in my area... everyone else seemed to have gone with the gx470. i wanted to get a better look at the other 4th gen but the guy raced away... maybe he was jealous of my limited?

Biff, I was just joking. My wife harrasses me all the time about my fascination with the 4Runner and vehicles in general. For instance I always point out the other 4Runners on the road when we pass them and then she just looks at me like I'm crazy and weird.

Here I thought I was the only one that did that. My wife makes fun of me when I try to tell her about any runner that drives next to us.

Biff - They don't understand. Mine accuses me of being anal 'bout my truck all the time. Wonder how their outlook would change if our fascination was with something other than cars....like women!
Perhaps this truck thing isn't so bad..........

has it's advantages - great pics everywhere! Trouble is - I only have 3 dealerships & I've worn our my brochure welcome!

I only have three Toyota dealerships by me too. I think I know every 4Runner on their lot and what options they have on it. I have read every literature out there on the 4Runner. Whenever I am driving and pass a dealership, I do not look where I am driving but look to see what 4Runner's are on the lot! :eek2:

I also forgot to say in an earlier post that I have my truck set as the background on my cell phone. I have it so I can see it wherever I go!!

Now that is passion.... I cant wait till i get my digital camera so i can get pics on here. My 88 is in better condition than half of the newer"other" trucks out there.

I have my truck as my wallpaper on my company desktop, my home laptop and my cell phone! On my fridge, since I ran out of fridgfe magnets, the truck's pic partially covers my girlfriend's. Now you know where my dedication lays...
