Skip the NAV. I have it on mine, but it doesn't come with maps for AK. I believe Canada is in the same boat. Aparently, Toyota doesn't think Alaska is part of the US.

I'm moving to the lower 48 next summer so the NAV would do as advertised. As a canuck I'll have to pay cash in the USA, but at least $8k will be in my pocket. I did the toyota builder for both countries and retail for the TE is 41,800 US or 49,500CDN!

Don't forget that you'll be hit with GST, and the 6% foreign built car tax, plus a few other fees, which means prob 5K by the time you get it back here... or possibly you mean you aren't going to import it to Canada? I may have misunderstood your post. A buddy who does a bunch of importing says min 10K savings to make it really worth it, but that's just an opinion

Interesting because I just picked Omaha as a random zip for you (68102) and it does not show the third Limited package. The only package it shows is the one I am not clear on:

It depends how you look at it. When I used the build your own feature for my VW GTI, I could build it however I wanted within the option list. This meant when I called the 5 closest VW dealers, they all said, "no, we don't have that configuration, how about a 2 door with the 17" wheels and leather instead." Well, I wanted 18" wheels, 4 door, and plaid interior. In fact, there wasn't one of my particular build in the whole country. Obviously, I was pretty damn annoyed by the end of the process because I was ready to buy right then and only 1 dealer was willing to order it for under MSRP. A $750 deposit and 4 months later, I finally had my car.
Toyota sets their build your own up to be what you can commonly find at your local dealer. This means you build it on the site, and if you are satisfied with it, you can generally call up 5 local dealers and one of them will have what you built online. Now, if you absolutely insist on no sunroof but having 3rd row, the better cloth, and premium audio and you can't build that configuration online, even though it is a possible configuration via the spec sheet on Toyota.com, the dealers can order it that way for you.
My wife and I are in the process of deciding which car she is going to get in the spring. We've pretty much decided on a Prius v Five. The only option is a $5k Advanced Tech package. We should actually be able to find something right off the lot that fits what we want because the only variables of the Prius v Five are exterior color, interior color, and AT package or no AT package.
Subaru has the worst. Last I checked, when building a WRX, when you selected hatch instead of sedan, the picture didn't even change.

But it's like when I use the build feature on a vehicle, it's a learning experience because it shows you all the available options and colors for your car, yet for Toyota, it doesn't even tell you what packages are, and doesn't give you all the color options, etc. It's just REALLY terrible. But that's just me. Just very annoying and frustrating.

Strange! Well thanks for the post anyways, It's a feature I'd want but wasn't sure what the cost was for this.
If I had to guess, I would say at least ~$1300 for the 3rd row if I am reading that code right - which is strange because I thought LTDs came with 3rd row. I guess they are all just spec'd that way and automatically added on to the price.
I think for '12 Toyota is forcing a combo package. They must really be wanting to push those Entune head units.
No it's not just you - it's not the friendliest site in the world and is probably due for an overhaul.
I think they don't want you to know all the available packages as a way to discourage factory orders but I could be wrong.

Well I remember when I went to the new car show when the gen5 was just coming out they said it would be a special order because only 7% of them would have it. Not sure how true that is.

So I was fumbling through the entune website and in small print somewhere it said that first 3 years free subscription. Anyone else catch that?!
Then I tried to find on the website how much it is there after, and off course no luck...
I also discovered (as discussed in this thread) - seems like the navigation is still the same type of navigation, it's just added software with a few more buttons, at least that's what it seems like to me.
I'm dying to find out if I would be able to update my current one to the entune via hardware OR software. DYING
