4runner 2006 factory skid plate

The boards didn't come with the lights, I put them in for about $35. The seller is on Ebay at:

You do have to insert a tap-tread post that goes inside a non-threaded hole in the frame, which you later bolt the plate mounting bar to. Confused? You'll understand when you get it. I stood behind my mechanic during the whole process. An air wrench sped up the job--taking about 15 minutes. He also applies some no-seize gunk on the bolts he put on saying it will help if I want to remove them later (he said even though the bolts are coated by Toyota to resist rusting, many times they still do and are a pain to remove).

I am wondering the same thing. I received my skid plate the other day and hope to install it this weekend. There may be clearance issues with my Jaos center protector. While the mounting points will not interfere, the bull bars are very close to the bumper. The skidplate is wider than the center protector and seems to stick out somewhat from the bumper. I am hoping the skid plate can be bent closer to the bumper so the center bars can go over them.
I hope to find out this weekend!
BTW, the skid plate is surely not heavy duty but it should give some protection to the underside of the radiator. The above pics look good so IMO it's probably worth the $113 I paid - if it fits!

It really doesn't stick out that much. It can be adjusted a little closer (I think). The angles on the pics make it look like it sticks out more than it really does. It looks really nice from straight on.
I'll do some measuring this weekend and post then....
Concerning the lights on the boards---yes they had to be wired. There is a thread somewhere on this forum that has a link to the actual instructions with pictures. I could have done it myself, but my stealership owed me a favor since I gave my Dunflops to their service manager when I had my Revos mounted, so they hooked up the lights for $20. It took them about an hour and I watched the guy do the work. I figure it would take me about 1.5 hours to do it. It really wasn't complex. I would definately get the LEDs though. I put them in in less than 3 minutes and love them---all sorts of positive comments from people on them.

I just got done installing mine and there is some leeway as far as adjusting up and down, and in and out (sounds like an XXX movie hehehehe).
Anyway, I have mine adjusted so I can barely get my finger in between the edge of the skid plate and the bumper. It's a little tricky adjusting it because on one side your wrenching down to tighten it and on the other side your wrenching up to tighten it. So it takes a little time playing with it to get it even. I like it, looks cool.
Seems pretty sturdy, but if you run it into an curb or rocks or a dirt embankment you're going to push it up into your bumper. It's actually a little more sturdy then I thought it would be.
